Catch Up

So it has been a really long time since I've posted, but I'll be honest, I kind of expected that to happen. A lot has happened in the past 6months. I'm on the home stretch of completing my Honours degree, I have about 4weeks to go!! The 11th of November is D-Day. I can't believe and CANNOT wait for it all to be over!

This month has just been absolutely crazy! It feels like this month has just begun but it's already half way through. My wonderful boyfriend was baptized last weekend and it was the most amazing experience. I can't even think of words to describe how special it was :-D

Of course conference has just been and gone. What a wonderful conference it was. The biggest thing I learnt from that was time management and learning to prioritize my time wisely. I have been taken in the 'winds of procrastination' for too long I really need to put in effort to actually use my time and not idle it away.

Life is just moving too fast these days yet other times it moves too slow. I don't get how that works but that's hoe it feels. Starting my preparations for my year overseas. It's bittersweet. I don't want to leave. I have no idea what I'm going to do with all my stuff! But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, which will be after the 11th of November! :-D

I will post again soon

First Time!

So I experienced my first lawn mowing today. I was doing so well and having fun actually, until.....I mowed over a brick! Haha I was so disappointed. At least I got to finish mowing the backyard jungle before it happened. The same can't be said for the front jungle though. Only me! Next time will be better hopefully haha

Let's try this thing.

I wanted to see if starting a blog would be a good idea. I am loving my life here in Toowoomba. In the middle of writing my dissertation on George Gershwin's Rhapsodies, it's a lot of work but I am loving it. I have wonderful and amazing friends that keep me on the right track and lift me up when I'm down. We are a crazy bunch and we love it. Missing one of the main members of our tribe she deserted us and moved to Caloundra. She's a traitor really :-p We love her and miss her, it's just not the same without her.

I love my calling, I'm still in Nursery. The numbers have diminished greatly from last year so there is way less snot and sticky fingers to deal with!

Moved into a new place at the end of January before my folks' big move to the States, and I absolutely love it! It's a lovely house for the three of us. It's nice finally having a place to call mine and having a car makes life so much easier!

Still preparing for a mission. I plan to submit them at the end of the year. In the middle of getting all the medical done and studying Preach My Gospel. I have never been more excited to do anything in my life than to serve a mission. I know that it was the Lord wants me to do. He has prepared people out there for me to meet and bring into the gospel. I can't wait to meet them!
